1Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the StuTool web application (stutool.in). It explains what information is processed, how it is handled, and the technical boundaries of our services. Please note that this policy is separate from the Android App Privacy Policy. By using the StuTool web application, you understand and agree to the practices described below.
2Processing of PDF & Document Files
All PDF processing tools provided by StuTool (including Merge, Compress, Extract, OCR, and PDF to Word) operate locally on your device. When you select a document for processing, it is read and modified entirely within your web browser. Your documents and files are not uploaded to our servers, nor are they accessible to Mohammed Saif or any third parties.
3Resume Builder & AI Enhancement
When you use the Resume Builder, your draft data is saved to your browser's localStorage. This ensures you do not lose your progress if you refresh the page. This saved data remains on your device and is not synchronized to any database.
If you utilize the "Enhance Objective" AI feature, the specific text you input is transmitted securely through our backend to third-party Artificial Intelligence providers (such as Google Gemini, Groq, or OpenRouter) to generate an improved version of your text. We do not store this text in our databases after the request is fulfilled.
4Feedback Submissions
When you submit feedback or contact us via the forms on our website, we collect the information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address (optional), and message. This data is transmitted to and processed by Web3Forms, our secure form-handling provider, solely for the purpose of receiving and reading your feedback.
5Cookies and Analytics
The StuTool web application does not use cookies, nor do we employ tracking scripts, advertising trackers, or invasive analytics (such as Google Analytics). Because we do not set tracking cookies, we do not require a cookie consent banner.
6Data Retention and User Rights
Because we do not store your documents or resume drafts on our servers, there is no centralized data for us to delete upon request. You can clear your Resume Builder data at any time by clearing your browser's site data or clicking the "Clear Data" option in the app. For feedback emails sent to us via Web3Forms, we retain them only as long as necessary to address your inquiry.
